About
MilesAhead.tv is a new interactive “rich media” site designed to highlight the latest news and events of Miles Ahead.
MilesAhead.tv exists to tell the stories of how God is using evangelist Miles McPherson and the Miles Ahead organization to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to the young, and the young-minded, across the world. The goal is to reach out to a million youth.
Launched during the innovative Jamaica Crusade in Montego Bay April 28-May 4, 2008, MilesAhead.tv features live simulcast capabilities, a news blog, a photo gallery, and videos — some produced by the Miles Ahead staff and some produced by participants like you. The site airs a 24-hour loop of clips, and also allows viewers to make “On Demand” choices of what to view.
You can watch news recaps and read a weblog covering the humanitarian work Miles Ahead’s nearly 300 volunteers did in the communities of Montego Bay, prior to the two Jamaica Crusade nights at Dump Up Beach May 2 and 3, 2008. Some of the volunteers who traveled from San Diego and elsewhere posted their own videos and weblog entries, describing how God used them to share His love to the people of Jamaica.
In addition, MilesAhead.tv features interviews with Miles McPherson and background video clips of Miles Ahead events. You can also watch Master Meth, an Emmy Award-winning documentary on the scourge of methamphetamine addiction, which McPherson produced.
McPherson, a former NFL football pro with the San Diego Chargers, is also pastor of the growing 10,000-strong Rock Church in San Diego. He has preached the good news of Jesus Christ to stadiums full of people in Buffalo, N.Y., El Paso, Texas, Uganda, and Canada,
MilesAhead.tv will continue to develop. Tune in often. And let us know what you think. We’re here for you.
